President Private Hospital (PPH) has exciting opportunity available for a Registered Nurse to lead our dynamic rehabilitation team on the Saturday and Sunday morning shift.
About the Hospital
PPH is a located in Kirrawee in the Sutherland Shire. PPH is owned and operated by Macquarie Health Corporation Ltd, one of the largest private hospital operators in Australia.
The hospital comprises of 45 inpatient beds, as well as inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities including gymnasiums and hydrotherapy.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our supportive and experienced clinical team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care and management of clinical patient matters
- Safe and appropriate administration of medication.
- Maintain timely, accurately, legible reports in medical records and register.
- Participate as a member of the rehabilitation interdisciplinary team.
- Liaising with the weekday Clinical Ward Manager.
- Communicate accurately all relevant information to medical/nursing/allied health staff.
- Supervise and educate personal service attendant.
- Participate in hospital quality project.
Essential:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- 5 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Proven ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Full working rights in Australia
- Current National Police History check
- Working knowledge of the National Health care standard
