We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our amazing team at the CAPS Clinic Private Hospital – Sole’vita.
If you are patient-focused, dedicated, a team player with recovery and/or surgical scrub/scout experience, or willing to expand into this role and are looking for a more collaborative working environment – this is the role for you!
About the Role
This exciting opportunity will give you the ability to work with our patients through their entire journey from preparation for surgery to their recovery, including post-operative wound management and removal of sutures.
With a high nurse-to-patient ratio you will be able to utilize your perioperative and post-operative nursing skills and gain much experience in the varied roles you will provide at the hospital and skin clinics.
Experience in scrub and recovery nursing is highly desirable.
Hours may vary but are usually between 6.45 am and 7.45 pm.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Perioperative for general anaesthetic/local anaesthetic: scout, scrub, anaesthetics
- GA recovery
- follow-up phone consults with patients, removal of sutures, and wound management
- general duties
About You
- RN with APHRA registration – (no conditions)
- Experience in Perioperative or General Practice nursing (preferred)
- A team player
- Likes a challenge
