We are needing a Nurse to join our team.An exciting opportunity to join a team of friendly, hardworking individuals. Aberdovy Clinic was established more than 30 years ago as a GP clinic. Our Team pride ourselves in being a family orientated General Practice along with being a Teaching Clinic. We are committed to providing comprehensive general care to all our patients in our community.
Qualifications & experience
- Must have at least 12 months or more general practice experience
- High level of organisation
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Work well under the pressures of a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task, demonstrate initiative, good time management and flexibility.
- Batchelor of Nursing, Unrestricted registration with AHPRA and Compliance with CPD requirements.
Tasks & responsibilities
- General Treatment room procedures- ECG-Spirometry-Audiometry-BGL readings-Ear syringe
- Pre-employment and Workplace medicals
- Wound management
- Chronic disease management and Health Assessments
- Maintain infection control standards and cold chain management.
- Immunisations - Adult and childhood vaccines
- Assisting Doctor's with procedures
- Triage over the phone and face to face
- Ensuring clinical standards are met for Accreditation purposes - 5th edition.
