Address**Med/Surg Nurse**
As a Medical/Surgical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in our medical and surgical units
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualised care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, recognising changes and taking appropriate action.
- Wound care and changing dressings
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other health care team members to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Having the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Nursing
- AHPRA registered
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills
- 2+ years experience in medical/surgical nursing
- BLS
- Full working rights within Australia
- Valid Police Check
- Working with Children's Check (WWCC) - NT
- Cultural competency
