ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our acute medical ward consists of 24 beds with telemetry capacity for 8 patients within the Catherine McAuley Centre- a state of the art development by Werribee Mercy Hospital. The patient presentations include a wide range of acute specialty medical conditions involving cardiac, respiratory, neurological, renal, endocrine, and general medical conditions. We also cater to surgical/gyne patients needing cardiac monitoring and surgical overflow.
You will work alongside clinical specialists and consultants to assist you in delivering exceptional clinical care to potentially critically ill patients. You will be supported by a dedicated education team to further develop your skills and open opportunities for career progression. You will work with supportive leaders who exemplify the virtue of teamwork and clinical excellence. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team dedicated to holistic patient-centred care.

ABOUT YOU:
- Current and unrestricted registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Excellent clinical knowledge, assessment and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to learn and improve clinical and critical thinking skills
- Be a driver for patient advocacy and excellent clinical service.
