Eligible Health Workers who move to Queensland from interstate and international jurisdictions to take up permanent employment may receive up to $20,000 (pro rata) in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Attraction Incentive Scheme The service Medical Imaging provides a diagnostic and interventional service to the Townsville Hospital and Health Service as well as to other health services in North Queensland. Interventional services include Radiology, Neuro and Vascular Intervention. Generous remuneration package value up to $84,9065 p.a. comprising: Salary rates between $40.51 - $51.97 p.f. (NG5) Annual leave loading leave 12.75% employer superannuation contribution Other employment benefits may include: salary sacrificing options, uniform and locality allowances, employee wellness and assistance programs and access to corporate discounts Role requirements Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory. Highly Desirable: Medical Imaging Experience Experience in Medical Imaging neuro intervention, radiology intervention and vascular intervention procedures Scout/Scrub Experience Proficiency in Peripheral Inserted Venous Cannulation (PIVC) and Ultrasound Guided Cannulation Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster. On call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster. Wearing of Designated PPE: the position requires the wearing of protective lead clothing in compliances with Radiation Safety precautions. Staff will be required to wear this PPE for varying periods of time.
