Form of workSouthern Cross Care Queensland has an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the clinical team at our Karinya Residential Aged Care Home in Nanango. This is a 12-month fulltime role to cover maternity leave. There may be potential of future permanency contingent on staffing requirements.

What will you bring to the role?
- You will be a Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
- You will have a strong clinical focus with the ability to provide a high level of holistic support that best suits the individual
- Knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care (desired)
- You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives
- You enjoy working in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- You must hold the right to work in Australia. We welcome applicants from overseas who have current AHPRA registration and hold a valid working holiday visa or are seeking sponsorship opportunities
Southern Cross Care Queensland (SCCQ) is a Catholic not-for-profit organisation established by the Knights of the Southern Cross, more than 40 years ago. They saw a need to provide compassionate care and inclusive service to some of the most vulnerable, the ageing population, in the community.
