Registered Nurses – Perioperative Services
Permanent Part-time Positions in Day Surgery: Up to 76 hours per fortnight
With the exciting expansion of our surgical services we now have positions available within our busy Day Surgery Unit. This is an amazing opportunity for experienced surgical/perioperative nurses, with diverse clinical skills, to join our team and make a significant contribution to our community.
- In your application clearly state the hours per week you would like - Exact hours will be negotiated with the successful applicants.
- You will be required to work a rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts. The Unit is open between 0700-2030 Monday to Friday.

We are looking for applicants with the following skills/experience/knowledge;
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Recent surgical or perioperative experience within a busy elective surgery environment
- Outstanding organisational and daily management skills
- Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexibility and the ability to work all shifts within a team
- A commitment to a team approach to care delivery
IMPORTANT: All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated (3 doses) for COVID-19 (unless a valid exemption applies) and Influenza vaccination. Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.

The administrative headquarters are located at West Gippsland Hospital in Warragul, approximately 100kms east of Melbourne.
