Registered Nurse Or Enrolled Nurse

Utilising our established clinics throughout metro Western Australia, the REDiMED team is able to offer the skills and services of expert, Surgeons, General Practitioners, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Nurses, Medico-Legal Advisors and an all-inclusive Clerical Medical Support Team.
The successful Registered or Enrolled Nurse will join our team on a full-time basis and have the ability to work across our multiple clinics in Queensland, including Mackay, Spring Hill and Eagle Farm. 

Our ideal Registered or Enrolled Nurse will have:

• A background in General Practice
• Professional and engaging communication skills; articulate and able to converse with people from a wide variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

A ‘Day or Week in the Life’ of Nurses may include: 

• Assisting in the daily running of Plastics, Orthopaedic and General Practitioner Clinics
• Running Dressing Clinics
• Assisting with Skin Checks 
• Running Immunisation Programs - both onsite and clinic based
• Assisting Surgeons with Minor Procedures under a Local Anaesthetic 
• Assisting with Pre-Employment Medicals 
• Stock Monitoring and Ordering
• Triaging Emergency Phone Calls and Walk-in Cases
• Sterilising Equipment

Redimed Nurses are Required to Have:

1. Current and Valid Nursing Registration with AHPRA
2. Current Professional Indemnity Insurance  
3. Current Police Clearance or Ability to Obtain One
4. Current Australian Drivers Licence
5. Current Working with Children’s Check
6. Solid Background and Capabilities in Wound Care and Knowledge 
7. Exceptional Patient Care and Customer Service Skills
8. A Commitment to Best Practice
9. Current First Aid Certificate (both CPR and Defibrillation Competent)

Desirable Criteria:

1. Current Vaccination/Immunisation Certificate
2. Current Phlebotomy Certificate
