About the role:
Werribee Mercy Hospital’s Emergency department is recruiting Registered Nurses to undertake a Graduate Certificate of Emergency Nursing, in collaboration with Deakin University.
Our Emergency Department is delivering care to the fastest growing community of the West, providing care to over 50,000 patients annually. You will also be a part of the exciting growth strategy which will include a brand-new two-level Emergency Department, expected to open in 2025.
Ongoing clinical support at the bedside and specialised emergency education, in affiliation with Deakin University, provides the opportunity for professional growth within a supportive environment.
By joining our team, you will develop a strong clinical understanding and ability to collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive high quality care.
About you:
- Current unrestricted registration as RN Division 1 with APHRA
- A minimum of 12 months registered nursing experience
- Proven ability to work independently as well as working collaboratively within the team
- Critical thinking ability and demonstration in prioritising patients’ care
- Commitment to furthering knowledge and continuing professional development
