Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services are looking for several Registered Nurses to join their team via the Casual Pool. Nursing staff who are recruited through MSAMHS Central Staffing are employed on a casual basis to replace staffing shortfalls as required, due to emergent, short term and long-term leave. MSAMHS Central Staffing is responsible for the provision of experienced casual nursing staff to provide patient focused care across the mental health units in Princess Alexandra Hospital, Logan Hospital, Redland Hospital, and other community sites.

About the Role

• The RN engages in reflective, analytical practice through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct person-centred care.
• The RN provides quality care to patients with complex addiction and mental health conditions within the context of a multidisciplinary team and the integrated mental health service.
• The RN demonstrates evidence of increasing autonomy and exercises greater levels of professional judgement in the clinical environment as the employee moves from a beginning to experienced practitioner.
