About the Role
Catholic Home is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team at Castledare, ideally Monday to Friday, fulltime. This position will provide professional nursing care and leadership within the scope of practice to all Castledare and staff.
Castledare Village is a well loved medium-sized residence which is located within inner southern suburbs with easy access from Manning Road, Leach and Albany Highway in Wilson.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Delivering skilled nursing, clinical, personal and end-of-life care for Residents according to care plans
- Acting as a role model, providing nursing leadership, by working collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, complying with the clinical governance framework, quality management systems and Catholic Homes’ model of care
- Completing Resident assessments and developing, evaluating and reviewing care plans on an ongoing basis
- Recognising Residents’ changing health care needs and initiating timely referrals to internal and external providers in consultation with the Resident and their authorised representative.
The successful candidate with have / be:
- Current Registered Nurse registration through AHPRA
- Experience working in Aged, Health or Community care
- Ability to lead and work well within a team
- Commitment to person-centred care
- Passion and dedication for working with the elderly
- Enthusiastic and positive demeanour
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work
