About the Role
Our Perioperative Department has permanent full-time positions available for experienced Scrub Scout nurses to join the team! With 4 operating theatres and a procedure room, we are able to offer you a diverse and interesting range of surgical specialties. We also offer a great work-life balance and the opportunity to join a supportive and skilled perioperative nursing team. Potential of a CNS role is available for the right applicant, depending on speciality skillset.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Scrub Scout nurse
- Post graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing would be highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE 68,033.68 - $95,500.08]

About our Hospital
Southern Highlands Private Hospital provides 73 acute medical and surgical beds, as well as an extensive range of onsite rehabilitation and palliative care services for the community and beyond to the regional and rural areas.
The Hospital has 4 Operating Theatres, a Procedure Room, a Day Surgery Unit and a Day Oncology Unit. The hospital is located in Bowral, adjacent to the public hospital.
Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
