Our Client:
We are looking for a passionate, experienced Registered Nurse to join an AMAZING Aged Care provider located South of the River with supportive FM and 2 CNMs. They are known for their outstanding team, valuing their staff, positive culture and WORK/LIFE BALANCE and you will care for a small number of residents due to AMAZING STAFF TO RESIDENT RATIOS! Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the new Aged Care Quality Standards
- Dealing with falls, undertaking assessments, intervention and observation
- Medication administration
- Supervising carers on shift and providing direction
- Clinical decision making
- Updating care plans and assessments
- SIRS management - incident reporting and investigation
- Supporting the residents' families and listening to feedback and requests
- Wound management
- Assist in the management of complaints and procedures
The Successful Candidate:
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Experience in aged care working in a residential setting
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current influenza and COVID vaccinations
