This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
About The Role
The role requires a commitment to a structured 5-day workweek, 9am-5pm AEDT, within a 6-day roster, Monday-Saturday. Please note there is no flexibility with this roster. If you're dedicated to providing quality care from the comfort of your own home, we want to hear from you. (Please note part-time hours and variations to the above roster are not available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide patients through their medicinal cannabis journey, supporting both current and prospective individuals.
- Act as a vital link between patients and doctors, handling inquiries and escalating issues as needed.
- Explain access pathways, navigating TGA and Special Access Scheme processes.
- Conduct structured patient pre-assessments via telehealth, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.
- Discuss patient conditions and collaboratively establish treatment goals for a tailored approach.
- Clearly explain the intricacies of medicinal cannabis treatments in a patient-friendly manner.
- Simplify complex information to make it easily understandable for patients.
- Maintain meticulous medical records with accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee pathology requests and results to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage general administrative clinic tasks as required, contributing to overall operational smoothness.
About You
We are especially interested in applicants with a robust background in mental health, along with experience in a GP clinic or outpatient setting. If you are a passionate and qualified professional, we encourage you to apply.
Skills & Experience:
- Registered Nurse with current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
- 4 to 7 years of post-graduate clinical nursing experience.
- Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing care plans.
- Previous experience in a GP clinic or outpatient setting.
- Capable of maintaining accurate and timely patient records.
- Committed to delivering patient-centered care.
- Highly regarded experience with medicinal cannabis treatments.
- Patient-focused with a dedication to enhancing the overall patient experience.
- Proven success in managing customer relationships.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working with various computer systems and basic troubleshooting.
