Form of workPermanent Full Time and Part Time hours are available for enthusiastic and proactive Registered Nurses (Telephone Triage) to join the Health Contact Centre in the Department of Health! You will deliver safe, compassionate clinical care to Triage callers across Queensland; working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve best practice patient outcomes.
The Registered Nurse engages in reflective, analytical practice through effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of direct person-centred care. You will also continually improve your skills and knowledge to become a highly skilled Registered Nurse.

The HCC is part of the Queensland Government's commitment to addressing the growing demand in health services in Queensland. The HCC operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week delivering confidential telephone assessment and information services to the people of Queensland. The HCC strives to educate and empower people to make informed choices about their health and health care, promoting better health through the delivery of evidence-based clinical practice.
