This is a great opportunity for the right person to join our supportive team of health professionals and administrative staff who are dedicated to helping patients. This is a part-time position, 4 days a week, Monday to Friday - ideal for someone looking for a long-term career in general practice.
Roles and responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide nursing support to our doctors, coordinate and assist in a wide variety of treatments and care activities for our patients. These include but are not restricted to:
- Patient Triage
- Injury/Wound Management
- Assisting GPs with Clinical Procedures
- Immunizations
- Management of Treatment Room
- Conducting Preventative/Screening Procedures
- Health Assessments
- Management of Chronic Disease
- Recalls & Reminders
- Clinical Stock Ordering and Maintenance
- Infection Control Management
- Cold Chain Management
Minimum 2 years of experience in General Practice is essential.
