Ashford Hospital is a private not-for-profit 230 bed hospital. Ashford Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, general surgery, general medicine, gynaecology and maternity, oncology, orthopaedics, urology and vascular surgery. Ashford Hospital has 9 operating theatres, 1 procedure room, 2 angiography labs, an emergency department, maternity services and a 24 bed level 3 critical care unit.
We are seeking to recruit experienced Registered Nurses for our Cardiac Services/General Surgical Ward. This is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated candidates with extensive cardiac and/or general surgical skills to join ACHA Health.
At Ashford Hospital we are proud of our reputation providing service to the South Australian community. With 55 dedicated cardiology and cardiothoracic beds, complemented by a 6 bed acute chest pain unit, we are well positioned to provide outstanding care.
We offer a rewarding work environment with a group of passionate professional staff supported by Interventional and Non interventional Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeons and 24 hour onsite medical support, an Emergency Department, 2 state of the art Angiography Labs and a Level 3 Critical Care Unit.
Essential Criteria:
· South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
· Current AHPRA Registration
· Three years' minimum cardiac experience as a Registered Nurse
· Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards
· Ability to manage risk
· Sound knowledge of Registered Nursing standards
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong facilitation and coaching skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch - Nurses' & Midwives - Enterprise Agreement - 2021-2024 ('Agreement' or 'Enterprise Agreement')" (salaries range between $35.69 - $48.80 per hour).
