About the RolePermanent Part-Time Role 3 Shifts a Fortnight 7am - 3.15 pmLocated in the heart of the Stirling community, Aegis Stirling provides quality care and services for up to 129 residents in a modern and homely living environment. Alfred Carson utilize state-of-the-art equipment providing Residents with quality care and easier working conditions for our staff. We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents. We have a Part-time role available covering various shifts across the week. An ability to inspire trust and proactively lead, coach, develop and mentor both unregulated care workers, care, and lifestyle staff.Within this role you will be a champion of high quality, safe and effective nursing that aligns with the resident preference and best practice by: Undertaking clinical, social and self-care assessments. Anticipate residents’ changing health needs and initiate further assessments or referrals. Support residents and their families by addressing their queries, comments, suggestions, or concerns.You will be responsible for compliance: Ensuring all care documentations are completed with the appropriate strategies implemented. Identifying and managing clinical risk in the aged care setting.Your role within the team would involve: Supporting, coaching, monitoring, and mentoring the unregulated care workers. Providing support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and clinical expertise to the care team.We need you to possess the following: A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse. Clinical experience and ability to manage risk in Aged Care. A sound understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and quality management systems.
