About the role
- Working as a team member in a 10 bed Recovery Room.
- Need flexible hours to suit patient work loads.
- Some on-call will be required
Your main duties will include:
- Post op monitoring of the patient
- Caring for the unconscious patient
- Pain management
- Being an active team member in Recovery Room
What you bring
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in the theatre setting as a senior scrub / scout nurse (min 5 years).
- Must have recent experience in Plastics and reconstructive surgery
- Demonstrated clinical competence in area of specialty
- Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
- Have the ability to effectively make decisions and delegate when required.
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
