AddressUnique opportunities exist for Registered Nurses to join the team at the Residential Aged Care facility located in Shellharbour. Permanent full-time and part-time roles are available.
POSITION OVERVIEW
What you’ll be doing in this role:
- You will be a clinical leader in the service and you will develop, deliver, and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of the residents;
- You’ll need sharp clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services;
- You’ll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate for the client's quality of life.
- Current Registration with AHPRA;
- You’ll have previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin a career in Aged Care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector;
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, and a great time manager;
- You’ll be committed to contemporary Aged Care nursing practice;
- A National Police Check;
- Reference checks.

Above-award pay rates (up to $51.15 p/h).
ABOUT THE FACILITY
The Residential Aged Care Facility in Shellharbour comprises 5 distinct households, accommodating 20 residents each, with one dedicated to Memory Support for individuals with dementia. A Registered Nurse is available round-the-clock, and various allied health professionals are accessible to cater to specific requirements. The facility offers a spectrum of care services such as permanent care, dementia care, and respite care.
