About the Role
Eastern Health fosters a culture of life-long learning and is now recruiting 2024 mid-year postgraduate students (July intake) within acute Medical Surgical programs. During your postgraduate studies, you will be provided with education and supervision in the clinical area by experienced members of the Learning and Teaching team who are focused on your individual professional development and career aspirations. You will also have access to a team of committed interdisciplinary clinical experts to support and guide your learning throughout the program.
We are currently offering clinical learner positions within a number of adult Medical Surgical units across a number of Eastern Health's acute sites. You will be prompted to nominate your preferred area of practice during the application process. Commencement date will be on or before Monday 15th of July 2024. Our current affilliate partner for the Medical Surgical Postgraduate Program is Monash University.

About You
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) registration with AHPRA
- Recent acute clinical experience (1+ years post registration experience with successful completion of a Graduate Nurse Program preferred)
- Motivated and self-directed learner who is receptive to feedback
- Well-developed communication skills
- Patient-centred practice
- Passion for clinical excellence
