AddressNew opportunities have arisen for experienced Scrub ScoutRegistered Nurses to join the theatre department at a private facility in Miranda. Permanent part-time positions are available.
ROLE DETAILS
The successful candidate will join the two operating theatres with state-of-the-art medical equipment and two specialised treatment rooms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering evidence-based nursing care;
- Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team;
- Ensuring patient and staff safety;
- Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members;
- Providing education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse;
- At least 3 years of relevant nursing experience in a perioperative setting;
- Post-graduate qualifications or specialities will be highly regarded;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent understanding of infection control principles;
- Willing to work in a cohesive and caring team.
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances

The facility, located in Miranda, serves as a specialised day procedure center at the heart of the Sutherland Shire. It features two advanced operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, along with two specialized treatment spaces. Specializsed medical services provided at this facility include Ophthalmology, Endoscopy/Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Urology, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Dermatology.
