We are seeking passionate and skilled
Registered or Enrolled Nurses to be an integral part of our operating theatre. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the surgical care of our patients and work in a highly specialized and collaborative environment.The position: Ongoing, Part-Time. 48.0 hours per fortnight - Monday - Friday + weekend on callAs part of our supportive and skilled Perioperative team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care of the perioperative patients in a competent and professional manner. This role will enable you to rapidly expand your nursing skills with exposure to a range of areas including PACU, Scrub/Scout and Anaesthetics. Your days will always be dynamic and engaging!

What you need:- Current AHPRA registration as Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Acute nursing experience and experience in Surgical or Perioperative nursing is required
- NMBA approved qualification in intravenous medication administration
- Demonstrated competence in acute and/or surgical nursing including understanding and experience in clinical handover, escalation of care and patient education
- A sound understanding of the functions and responsibilities of the perioperative nurse including care of the unconscious patient

These include General surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Vascular, Paediatrics, Dental and Gastroenterology.
