We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic RN looking to thrive as a Practice Nurse working with an exceptional team of Practice Nurses. The successful candidate will need to have a professional, mature outlook, with proven communication and administration skills
This is a part time position with the opportunity of full-time work
Remuneration is dependant on skills and experience.
Roles & responsibilities
- Chronic disease, health assessments with a strong focus on patient education and practice health initiatives
- Triage and assessment of patients
- Wound management
- Immunisations (understanding of vaccines and national immunisation program)
- Minor procedural assistance
- ECG/spirometry
- Cold chain management
- Infection control management
- Stock ordering and management
Skills & experience
- unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current CPR/BLS
- GP experience is preferable but not essential.
- Ability to prioritise workload a commitment to working within a team and autonomously as required.
- Proficient with computers and electronic clinical records
