The Arkaba Medical Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Nurse who shares our values of Integrity, Excellence, Patient Focus, Collaboration, and Innovation, to support the clinical needs of our patients. We are a busy doctor owned family practice, located in Parkside SA. We have a team of 6 nurses and 25+ doctors. Patient centered care is our priority. The position being offered is a long-term permanent position, with a minimum of 22 hours per week.

 Qualifications & experience

· Current Australian registration in nursing (AHPRA)

· Immunisation certification preferred

· Wound Care experience preferred

· Previous nursing experience, ideally in General Practice

· GP Management Plans and Health Assessments experience preferred  (training available for the right candidate if required)

· Excellent communication skills

· The ability to share roles within a team setting as well as working  independently with initiative

 Tasks & responsibilities

· General practice nursing responsibilities; triage, cold chain management, ABPI, ECG’s, infection control etc.

· Immunisations all ages

· Wound care

· Iron infusions

· Minor procedures

· Nursing administration tasks
