About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Mental Health Inpatient Services provides best practice nursing care for consumers in a recovery oriented model through assessment and clinical planning in an inpatient 24/7 setting. Collaboratively our service provision is supported by our Mental Health Community teams and the Prevention and Recovery Centre, providing excellence in care to the broader community in the South West region of Victoria.
As an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN), this role will work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team to undertake a range of assessments and contribute to the clinical planning of individual care for each client. You will support the development and maintain a high quality care environment by promoting and participating in quality improvement activities and initiatives.
Position overview
- Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 2
- Salary Range: $67,527.20 - $95,378.40 pro rata, plus superannuation
- We have permanent full-time and part-time positions available to support our dedicated workforce. Hours of duty are based on a 24/7 rostered shifts
These positions are eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
What you bring
As a motivated RPN ideally holding post graduate qualifications (or working towards), you will have demonstrated experience and skills in delivering a broad range of psychiatric care and services to patients in a Mental Health environment, whether in an inpatient or community setting. The successful candidate must hold current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
