The opportunity

You’ll join an organisation with a genuinely client-centred and quality-focused model of care, treating all patients with dignity and respect and involving them in all decisions about their health.

Your role will include:

• Cognitive and risk assessments of clients using evidence-based assessment tools.

• Providing follow-up support, referrals, and treatment.

• Monitoring clients for critical changes and contribute to evidence and data collection methods for PBMSP.

• Facilitate training and development of PBMSP methods for your client’s support staff and family.

• Providing and monitoring psycho-educational sessions for individuals and groups tailored to clients’ goals.

This is you

To launch successfully into this role, you’ll have:

• 3+ years of practice as a Registered Psychologist, including working within the community and providing supports and services under the NDIS.

• Current AHPRA General Psychologist registration.

• Current membership of the Australian Psychological Society

• A Bachelor or post-graduate of Psychology, plus a Master’s or PhD.

• Professional indemnity insurance.

• Current driver’s license with own transport.

You’re a team player, working well with clinical, support work and admin colleagues, and possess excellent time management skills to ensure all clinical and documentation aspects of your role are delivered in a timely manner.

Proficiency in the Office/Office 365 suite will also stand you in good stead, as will experience with clinical software packages used in private practice.
