The Cityâs Survey team is seeking a motivated Registered Surveyor to assist in managing our extensive network of survey assets and to deliver other survey products to ensure that land in the City is properly managed and the needs of our community are met.

You will work on unique cadastral surveying projects using modern equipment and software to help preserve the Cityâs cadastral framework and street alignments â from the initial research and planning stage, through field collection and data processing, to the final product delivery of new survey mark assets and Deposited Plans.

As a subject matter expert, you will also consult with and advise internal and external stakeholders on specialist Surveying matters.

In this role you will draw upon your demonstrated experience to:
- Plan and deliver capital works programs to preserve the Cityâs cadastre
- Provide specialist surveying advice to industry
- Review and approve City street alignments
- Consult with and advise internal clients on development and property boundary matters
- Guide, support, coach and mentor team members
Â
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A University Degree in Surveying, Geomatic Engineering or equivalent,
- Current Registered Land Surveyor status with BOSSI,
- Demonstrated experience in cadastral field work and Deposited Plan preparation,
- A thorough knowledge and understanding of the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002, the Surveying and Spatial Information Regulation 2017 and the Surveyor Generalâs Directions,
- Hold a current Australian Driver Licence.
