AddressWe are seeking a Registered Undergraduate Student of Nursing (RUSON) to join our nursing workforce at Timboon District Healthcare Services across our acute ward and Urgent Care!

The RUSON assists the health care team to provide delegated aspects of patient care. Elements of patient care will be delegated in accordance with the professional judgement of the supervising registered nurse, and in accordance with the level of achieved educational preparation and assessed competence by the education provider of the individual RUSON.
The RUSON is employed to undertake activities contained within the RUSON Core Duties List and Exclusion List.
This is a part-time position at 16 hours per fortnight. Terms and Conditions of Employment will be in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024 with relevant classification.
What you will needTo be successful in this role you will have:
- A current enrolment at a University, undertaking a Bachelor of Nursing
- Demonstrated satisfactory academic progress
- Knowledge of the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS)
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a wide range of people and manage groups
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
- Excellent computer and verbal communication skills
