About your opportunity
The primary function of the position is the provision of high-quality clinical care to patients requiring Paediatric Rehabilitation services in THHS. The trainee will work with the consultant and other paediatric registrars and co-ordinate day to day assessment and management of Paediatric Rehabilitation inpatients and outpatients, attending acute and elective admissions under the supervision of a paediatrician and or Paediatric Rehabilitation consultant.

Role Requirements
- Degree Qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution and hold Current Registration as a medical practitioner or eligible for Current Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropiate supervisor/manager prior to commencement of clinical duties.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
Generous remuneration package
Remuneration package of up to $189,852 p.a. (+ other applicable allowances/benefits) comprising salary range of $125,808 - $145,865 p.a.* (L4 - L9), recreational leave loading (17.5%), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), attraction and retention incentive allowance, professional development assistance (leave and vocational training subsidy), and inaccessibility allowance (if applicable).

- Clinical skills and knowledge at a level and requirement of the position.
- Leadership, teamwork, problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Culturally appropriate verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide supervision for junior medical staff.
- Professional and ethical behaviour in clinical and training environment.
- Commence work from August 2024.
