About us:
Gladstone Hospital is an 83-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology, and paediatrics.
About the role:
Assist the Director, Staff Specialists and Senior Medical Staff in ensuring the General Surgery services provided by the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service, Gladstone Hospital are of the highest standard and delivered in an efficient and effective manner given available resources.
About you:To be successful in this role you must have:
Mandatory qualification/s:
MBBS or equivalent to enable registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
If qualifications were obtained outside of Australia, the candidate must be eligible for registration with AHPRA and provide the following:
Evidence of successful completion of IELTS or equivalent English Language Test results within the last year
Evidence of successful completion of AMC MCQ (Part 1) Examination
Evidence of recency of clinical practice, supported by current references
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
What we offer:Salary information:
Total remuneration value of up to $156,676 p.a. is comprised of:
A salary between $118,444 - $136,602 p.a. (L4 - L9)
A salary between $118,444 - $129,975 p.a. (L4 - L7)
12.75% employer superannuation contribution
