About your opportunity
Fixed Term Temporary full-time or part-time / Hours negotiable / 12 months with possibility of extension.
The role of the Registrar / Senior Registrar is to:
- Provide high quality clinical care to patients of the North Queensland Persistent Pain Service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service.
- Provide supervision of junior medical staff including inpatient care and will include some responsibility for providing teaching to junior medical staff, medical students and allied health staff.
Generous remuneration package value up to $22,725 p.m.comprising:
- Salary range between $6149.80–$6776.80 p.f. (L10-L13), $4822.20–$5591.00 p.f. (L4-L9),
Level of appointment is dependent upon experience and advanced qualifications. - 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- vocational training program allowance (if applicable)
- professional development assistance

Requirements
- Proof of qualification and registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- If appointee is accepted into recognised vocational college training program relevant to the speciality appointment will be as a Registrar (L4-L9).
- If appointee is not accepted into a recognized vocational college training program – employment will only be as a Principal House Officer and remuneration will be at PHO Level per fortnight (L4-L7).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
