Job description

Provide medical services under supervision in a biopsychosocial and cultural Mental Health model at a Registrar/Principal House Officer level to patients in a public health care setting.

About the role

Provide medical services under supervision in a biopsychosocial and cultural Mental Health model at a Registrar/Principal House Officer level to patients in a public health care setting.

As a Registrar, to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to satisfy the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and medical board requirements in order to practice as a specialist.

  • Ability to collaboratively work with consumers and carers in clinical care delivery.
  • Demonstrates sound time management and stress management skills.
  • Awareness of and ability to apply and adhere to organisational policies, contribute to organisation goals and complete required training of Metro North Mental Health.
