About the role
Villa Heathcare Services are currently looking for talented and enthusiastic Registered and Enrolled nurses to join our expanding team. Work at available at aged care facilities and home care across Launceston and Northern Tasmania
Our ideal candidate
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Recent nursing experience in aged care
- A current National Police Clearance
- Australian Driving Licence
- Available to work across various locations and shifts
- The right to work in Australia
- NDIS Screening Check
Duties
- Provide Clinical Support to NDIS participants and aged care residents, including wound care and assessments
- Apply recognised standards of assessment, identification of goals, management of these goals, evaluation and follow up.
- Apply best practice principles to clinical care.
- Assess and interpret clinical indicators of general health status and apply this information to guide clinical decisions.
- Liaise with doctor, who is the primary care giver and other members of the patients’ multidisciplinary team, and participate in case conferencing and care plans for the client.
- Provide a safe environment for clients and staff and promote safe practice requirements, ie/infection control or sharps disposal
