Job Description
The Contract Management Lead role is responsible for delivering a robust supply chain solution to Viva Energy’s Fuels and Lubricants customers.
A key focus of the role is ensuring that all financial and commercial aspects of our cartage contracts remain competitive and continue to align with customer requirements, whilst ensuring our cartage providers adhere to contractual requirements.
Strong internal and external relationships are the key to success in this role. You will be the key interface for sales and procurement for customer transport and cartage tender related activities.
The role also leads and acts to further improve performance spanning beyond the commercial team across the sales and operation teams and the customer.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will have strong knowledge of Contract Management principals and be a strong negotiator with a sharp commercial mindset. You will have expertise, knowledge or a background within the Road Transport industry. You will have a passion for leadership, building strong relationships, stakeholder management, supplier management and practical experience in applying Safety Awareness to your role.
Ideally you will have the following specific experience;
- Experience in Fuel Logistics (transport) or similar operational scope desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and commercial acumen.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage and influence people working across multiple internal and external interfaces.
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritise, working efficiently and effectively.
- Exposure to mining operations advantageous.
- Ability to work as part of a virtual team as well as autonomously.
