OARS Community Transitions deliver innovative and successful high-level rehabilitation services. We are seeking a Rehabilitation Counsellor to facilitate delivery of our substance misuse program, from awareness, through to counselling and relapse prevention as part of our award-winning Home Detention Integrated Support Service Program (HISSP). This position is based across our Port Adelaide, Adelaide and Christies Beach Offices, however, also provides services in the community as needed.
About the Role: Duties include delivering 1:1 and group AOD interventions to meet the needs identified within individual client assessments in conjunction with the HISSP Case Management team.

The role is Level 6 within the SCHADS Award which is currently $104,802- $110,907 per annum (pro rata for part time staff). Above Award leave entitlements, which are 22 days annual and 12 days sick leave per annum (pro rata), and salary sacrifice options.
About you: degree qualified in human services, proven track record in counselling (individual and group based), excellent organisational and administrative skills and an empathetic approach to clients is essential.
