As part of the broader Home Buying team, Third Party Banking is a dedicated sales and service support channel for the mortgage business placed with CommBank, via mortgage brokers. This team is a focused sales force with intensive calling programs, designed to ensure that CommBank product is front of mind when brokers are dealing with existing and prospective clients.
Do work that matters
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager NSW, Third Party Banking, you’ll provide extended service to large volume brokers, assisting the relationship manager team to allow daily sales activity in the broker market.
More specifically, you will:
- Maintain the relationship manager/broker database
- Support the Third Party Banking channel by providing hands on service to our brokers, customers, solicitors and management
- Liaise with sales relationship and mortgage services teams for the effective and timely resolution of loan applications and service issues
- Monitor service delivery by CommBank to the Third Party delivery channel and escalate issues on a timely basis
- Ensure customer retention risks are identified and proactively resolved
- Take ownership of customer needs and identify appropriate service and product solutions
- Provide a consistently positive service experience for all matters escalated via the Third Party Banking sales teams
- A passion for delivering fantastic customer service
- Sound knowledge of lending principles (products, policies and systems)
- Knowledge of CommBank’s loan processing (mortgage services) and credit business, including processes (desirable)
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the business
- Strong computer skills – MS Office suite and CommBank systems and applications (CommSee knowledge desirable)
- A proven ability to meet business objectives and targets, with the capacity to work in a busy, commercial and competitive environment
