As a Reliability Engineer within our Integrated Energy team, you'll be responsible developing and optimising electrical, mechanical, and civil maintenance strategies to reduce asset downtime, and ensure assets are maintained optimally and efficiently within AGL renewable portfolio of assets including Wind, Solar, Batteries, Hydro, Gas Turbines and Gas Engines, additionally you'll also be responsible for identifying and managing asset reliability risks by performing data analysis to predict and curb failure before they occur.
The role will create and embed processes relating to maintenance strategies development, deployment and continuous improvement initiatives driven to support the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance across the renewables fleet, as well as champion reliability improvement initiatives, utilise asset performance and diagnostics to improve performance and drive cost efficiencies where possible.

What you'll be doing:
Ensuring that optimised Planned Maintenance (PM) tasks have all necessary documentation developed and stored within the renewables document management system and reviewed in a timely manner.
Coordinating, leading and championing effective collaboration between engineering, maintenance and asset services SMEs ensuring that the outcomes of reliability analyses are included into maintenance strategies.
Ensuring that the gathering of data and information occurs across renewable assets to allow robust reliability analysis at business unit, system, and equipment level.
Coordinating Failure Mode and Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for plant failures and monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of renewable assets, including equipment performance measurement against performance curves provided by the OEMs.
Identifying key downtime causes and effectively use downtime information to derive KPIs like Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Reliability, Maintainability & Availability.
Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environment Systems and goals are communicated and adhered to while meeting AGL's policies and standards for HSE management.
What you'll bring:
Tertiary qualification in Engineering with CPEng or working towards and able to register for the National Engineering Register coupled with experience utilising Reliability Engineering techniques and asset management principles to drive improvement is highly desirable.
Experience in Reliability Engineering and asset management in power generation and renewable energy experience is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience leading reliability improvement initiatives and developing maintenance documentation in power stations or other similar heavy industry.
Understanding of SAF as a CMMS is highly desirable as is familiarity with platforms such as Power BI, OSI PI, Reliability, RCA and Condition Monitoring software are desirable.
Advanced reasoning and conceptual skills leading to effective analysis, as well as proven skills to review, update and develop procedures for supporting maintenance activities.
Proven interpersonal skills with high quality written and verbal communication skills that can be utilised across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
