SalaryA leading manufacturer is seeking a skilled Reliability Manager with previous experience in reliability and leadership roles. The successful candidate will oversee a team of 4 fitters and 4 electricians, working core office hours Tuesday to Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Reliability Leadership:
- Leads and mentors a team of 4 fitters and 4 electricians, enhancing overall equipment reliability.
- Develops and implements strategies to improve equipment reliability.
- Maintenance Optimization:
- Collaborates with maintenance teams to optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Implements best practices to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
- Data Analysis:
- Utilizes data analysis tools to assess equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implements data-driven decision-making processes to enhance reliability.
- Root Cause Analysis:
- Leads investigations into equipment failures, conducting root cause analyses.
- Develops and implements corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Implements and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to equipment reliability.
- Training and Development:
- Provides training and development opportunities for the team, staying updated on industry best practices.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including production and engineering, to ensure seamless operations.
- Works closely with vendors to source reliable equipment and spare parts.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensures all reliability activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Implements and monitors safety protocols within the dairy manufacturing facility.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Or 5+ years experience in a similar position.
- Proven experience in reliability and leadership roles within the dairy or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reliability tools.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
