The Opportunity

In this role your positive approach and excellent communication skills will be your greatest asset as you conduct practical driving assessments for a wide variety of candidates seeking licences. Using your high attention to detail and the training provided, you will assess the candidate’s ability to meet the required standards of driving competency and provide comprehensive feedback in a compassionate and informative manner.
This is a 6-month fixed term contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension(s) or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made within the next twelve (12) months.
Note: You must hold a Current/Valid Western Australian Motor Drivers Licence C Class (manual) for at least 4 years.

We have a number of Driver Assessor vacancies available in the following regions:
GREATER NORTH Region: Butler & Joondalup
NORTH Region: Mirrabooka, Midland & City West
GREATER SOUTH Region: Mandurah & Rockingham
SOUTH Region: Cannington, Kelmscott & Success
We are looking for candidates available to work full-time on rotating shifts, 7 days a week, between 7am to 6pm.

This is a pool recruitment process; we use recruitment pools to build a bank of talent who we feel might be suited to future opportunities within the Department of Transport. You may join us on a full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanent basis however an appointment is not guaranteed.
