Caloundra City Private School is seeking relief teachers to join our School team and we welcome applications from individuals who prioritise the development of our young people's strong sense of self within a passionate, collaborative, and innovative educational environment. The applicant should be able to:
- Support the values of the school whilst demonstrating a genuine passion for meeting the educational needs of all students
- Lead by example and model collaborative and innovative contemporary practice
- Demonstrate outstanding planning skills with exceptional knowledge and understanding of curriculum content, progressive reporting and assessment integrity
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of best practice in literacy and numeracy
- Demonstrate familiarity with developmentally appropriate practices and early childhood education methodologies
- Exhibit flexibility to adapt teaching strategies based on individual needs
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate information communication technologies into the curriculum
- Display excellent interpersonal and communication skills in working with students, staff and parents
- Participate in wellbeing, academic and co-curricular programs that actively promote the development of the whole person
- Demonstrate an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and professional attitude
Selection Criteria:
1. Describe how you build and maintain relationships with student, parents and staff. Include experiences with Restorative Practices or any other programs that assist in the social and emotional growth of students.
2. Describe how you create a learning environment that caters for the needs of all students in your care.
3. In your teaching practice how do you demonstrate to your students' key values such as excellence, integrity, learning, respect and inclusivity?
