About Department
To provide clerical and administrative support to various departments or Services within the CGH Health Service.
About the Role
Ward Clerks form an integral part of our diverse Professional Health Care team.
This position is required to provide the administrative and operational support needs of the organisation, the position holder will be responsible for ensuring an efficient administrative service is delivered.
Ensuring an effective patient journey throughout the healthcare setting with a focus on the movement of patients between the wards and departments.
Duties
- Provide clerical and administrative support to any Unit or Service within the health service.
- Support Patient flow requirements as requested.
- Ensure timely documentation at the highest standard.
- Work autonomously or as part of a team, as required.
About You
- Certificate III in Business Management or equivalent experience in administrative fields.
- Demonstrated capacity for High Standards of Customer Service
- A demonstrated ability to organise work flows, set priorities, and use initiative in applying work practices.
- Flexibility and reliability. With a 'can do' attitude.
- Understanding of confidentiality and privacy requirements
