The Company

Opened in April 2012 in Booragoon Western Australia, URBAN MASSAGE STUDIO set out to be the single largest provider of professional, qualified massage in Perth. Our focus is providing our members and clients consistent, quality massage from our large professional team of fully qualified massage therapists. 

We offer a range of treatments including Remedial, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Relaxation, Sports, Reflexology, Hot Stone, Head & Facial and Aromatherapy.

The Role

As the Lead Therapist reporting directly to the Clinic Manager, you will:

1. Perform Remedial, Deep Tissue, Sports, Prenatal, Lymphatic  Drainage, Reflexology, Hot Stone & other massage treatments offered at URBAN MASSAGE STUDIO.
2. Provide mentoring and support to our team of therapists.
3. Review existing systems/procedures and recommend changes when necessary.
4. Assist management in meeting the needs of therapists and communicating with relevant associations and industry groups.
5. Work with management to develop a positive team environment through effective communication and social events.

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant MUST have the following criteria:

1. Highly qualified Remedial Massage experiance.
2. Certificates & accredited training in Remedial Massage, Deep Tissue Massage; Prenatal Massage; Reflexology; Hot Stone Massage & Aromatherapy (or currently studying)
3. Minimum 2 years’ experience as Remedial/Therapeutic Massage therapist in clinical setting.
4. Membership to an accredited massage association
5. Current police clearance WA
6. Current First Aid Certificate
7. Experience in management or team-leader role
8. Customer service experience
9. Motivated, have a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service & committed to client satisfaction.
10. Available Monday-Saturday including evening shifts.

Other desirable criteria:

1. Experience using Mindbody Online™ software.
2. Drivers licence & own car.

We are open:

1. Monday - Friday: 9:30am to 7:30pm
2. Saturday: 9am to 5:30pm
3. Sunday: Future Planning

• Expected salary: $70,000 per year
