Our Opportunity
CNS in partnership with InterHealthcare now have an opportunity for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. Working as a contractor we are looking for someone who is wanting 2-2.5 days work each week between our Mooloolaba and Maroochydore clinics with the potential to expand if you want to.
Key responsibilities in this role include:
Deliver high quality Remedial Massage with best practice techniques
Create a safe and relaxed environment where clients feel comfortable
Accurately document patient’s information from pre-assessment to treatment plans
Combine soft tissue therapies and exercise prescription as appropriate
Plan future treatment accordingly in line with client progress and monitoring
Educate clients about their injury/pain, prevention strategies and self-management techniques
Refer clients to other team members as appropriate
About you
Along with a passion for helping others lead a healthy lifestyle you will also have:
Diploma of Massage Therapy (Remedial or Myotherapy)
Currently registered with an association
Ability to get provider numbers for all health funds
Great communicator with the ability to ensure client comfort
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment that encourages appropriate cross-referrals
