SRG Global Asset Remediation is a leader in service life extension of built infrastructure by remediation, maintenance, strengthening, upgrade and restoration including corrosion and cathodic protection.

The Role

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interests for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing SRG Global Asset Remediation team based in Newcastle.

The Site Supervisor is vital to ensuring the successful execution and completion of our projects. With responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations on site and managing various aspects of a project.  

In addition to working with a high performing team, the successful applicant will receive ongoing project exposure allowing further development of technical and management skills. There will be an opportunity for a strong performer to progress their career and move into senior project and/or offsite positions.

Remedial works include:

  • Concrete Repair
  • Crack Injection
  • Cathodic Protection
  • Structural Strengthening
  • Hydro-demolition / Water Blasting
  • Expansion Joint / Bearing Repairs
  • Abrasive Blasting
  • Protective Coatings
  • Fatigue Cracking Repairs
  • Weld Repairs

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with the project manager, site manager, engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
  • Supervise and lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentoring as required.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify any potential issues or risks, and implement effective solutions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain effective communication channels and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Experience in remedial products and systems.
  • Experience in concrete patch repair, crack injection, carbon-fibre strengthening, cathodic protection, bridge joint installation/repair and protective coatings.
  • Experience delivering remedial services to the civil, mining, petrochemical, water, energy, building and marine sectors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with their project team and stakeholders.
  • Confined Space, Working at Height, EWP tickets (would be advantageous but not essential).
  • Drivers licence
