Job Details:
- $99.72 per hour - this includes a Remote Area allowance. Base salary is inclusive of callouts and overtime
- Contracts available from 4 - 12 weeks

As a Remote Area Nurse, your duties will include:
- Provision of primary health care including emergency care, chronic disease management and prevention for remote residents and visitors
- Participation in the after-hours on-call roster for after-hours medical emergencies accompanied by on-call support worker
There are four different clinics available and where you will go will depend on your dates and which clinic requires someone for that period. The clinics are spread across the beautiful Central Australia in the Northern Territory.

- Aboriginal Culture:Central Australia is home to numerous Aboriginal communities, and the Indigenous culture plays a significant role in daily life. Many residents have close interactions with the Aboriginal population and engage in cultural activities, learn about traditional practices, and participate in community events.
- Outdoor Lifestyle: The stunning natural landscapes encourage an outdoor lifestyle. Activities like hiking, camping, 4WD driving, and exploring the unique flora and fauna are popular among residents. National parks and reserves provide ample opportunities for adventure and recreation.

The Organisation
You will be working for a fantastic health service based in Central Australia.For over 40 years this health service has provided support and advocacy for Aboriginal people in the struggle for justice and equity. They are now one of the largest Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation in the Northern Territory, providing a comprehensive, holistic and culturally-appropriate primary health care service to Aboriginal people living in and nearby Alice Springs, including five remote communities.
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Current AHPRA registration, with no restrictions
- Remote Area Nursing Experience
- A current driver's license
