Position Overview: As a Remote Contaminated Land Report Writer, you will be responsible for producing various types of Contaminated Land Reports including waste classification reports, Phase 1/preliminary contamination reports, detailed contamination assessments, acid sulfate soil management plans and more. We are based in Newcastle NSW but this role is 100% remote and offers complete flexibility in working hours and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive Contaminated Land Reports such as waste classification reports, Phase 1/preliminary contamination reports, detailed contamination assessments, and acid sulfate soil management plans.
- Ability to produce conceptual site models preferred.
- Utilize strong Excel, Word, and PDF skills to compile, analyse, and present data effectively.
- Ensure all reports are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
- Communicate effectively with team members to gather necessary information and provide updates on report progress.
Qualifications:
- Contaminated Land experience essential
- Strong background in writing Contaminated Land Reports is highly preferred.
- Science or Engineering degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF software.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results against set criteria.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Own a computer and reliable internet connection.
Hours and Compensation:
- Flexible working hours ranging from 4 to 40 hours per week, depending on availability and capability.
- Work can be completed during evenings, weekends, or non-constant hours, as long as deadlines are met.
- Compensation is negotiable and can be based on either a per report or hourly rate.
