Role Summary:
The Remuneration Specialist role is an opportunity in our People Strategy & Capability Team based at our Perth Forrest Centre site. This role is being offered as Permanent Part-Time or Full-Time.
The purpose of the position is to lead and support projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing organisational capability and effectiveness, with a strong emphasis on remuneration practices. As the focal point of Synergy's total reward strategy, the Remuneration Specialist will lead remuneration efforts, ensuring alignment with our strategic intent. The role will operate in a team of organisation design specialists and from time to time may also be required to lead or support projects in areas such as strategic workforce planning and design, structures, job architecture, EVP, and benefits.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to benchmark compensation packages against industry standards.
- Develop and maintain salary structures, ensuring internal equity and competitiveness.
- Design and administer incentive programs, including bonuses, commissions, and stock options.
- Provide expert advice on remuneration matters, including base pay, variable pay, and benefits.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and board discussions.
What you’ll bring:
- At least ten years’ experience in human resources specialising in remuneration.
- Background in working in commercial setting and/or process improvement or continuous improvement.
- Ability to undertake research and analyse data and develop products and services aligned to strategic goals.
- Experience in, and understanding of workplace dynamics, systems, and processes.
- Proven track record delivering projects.
