About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Performance, Remuneration & Governance, you'll provide specialist advice and operational support in relation to Roy Hills remuneration and benefits framework.
Duties:
- Lead the development and execution of fit for purpose remuneration and benefits solutions and practices that are aligned to business requirements.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary remuneration practices and methods and build into the design the Roy Hill remuneration and benefits framework.
- Ensure accurate implementation of employee benefits.
- Participate and support the annual remuneration and benefits processes including the annual salary review and incentive program.
- Participate in external market research to ensure that remuneration remains aligned with Roy Hill's target market position.
Essential experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, commerce or finance or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience operating at a Specialist Remuneration level.
- Experience designing and implementing remuneration and benefits practices.
- Experience managing integrated HR Information Systems (SuccessFactors and SAP).
- Coaching and mentoring skills that are used to empower and mentor people at all different levels within the business.
- Analytical skills for the analysis of HR data, identifying market trends including risks and opportunities.
Desirable experience:
- Post graduate qualifications in Human Resources, Psychology or Commerce
- Experience in Mining, Engineering, Construction or Oil & Gas industries.
- Knowledge of State and Federal legislation such as Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
- Recent exposure to Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act 2009.
